PDF Toolkit was born out of frustration. As frequent handlers of sensitive digital documents, we found ourselves constantly needing to merge, split, or compress PDF files. However, the existing online solutions required us to upload our private data to third-party servers—a massive security and privacy risk. Desktop software, on the other hand, was often bloated, expensive, or hard to use.
We realized there had to be a better way. Leveraging modern web technologies like WebAssembly (Wasm), we built a suite of professional-grade PDF tools that execute entirely within your web browser. Absolutely no files are ever sent to our backend for processing.
